Lexi'ism

Before I forget, This was something really cute that Lexi said!!

We were driving in the car and I was in the turn lane and Lexi asked where we were going, and I told her, "Well, I'm going to come up here and flip a U and then we are going to go home!"

She was quiet for a moment and then said, "You are going to flip-a-me??"
I was quiet for a minute while I was trying to figure out what she said, then I just started laughing! She is TOO CUTE!!!

Disneyland, Again!!

I know we go to Disneyland ALL The time, and we just got back in Oct, but my Mom, sister and neices were all going, so of COURSE I wanted to go! This time, Tyler had to stay home, and it was a fast trip, but we had a BLAST!!

It was Christmastime at Disneyland, and it was BEAUTIFUL!! The kids loved the "snow" and Christmas decoratations!

Smallworld was all redone, and looked GREAT, and the castle was Beautiful! I haven't been to D-land at Christmas for about 5 years, and that is TOO long to not go! If you haven't gone around Christmas, I highly recommend it! The parade is fun and the fireworks are all put to Christmas music and then it SNOWS!! You can't beat that!
The girls had never met Aladdin and Jasmine, and it was their LUCKY day!!

The castle looked SO PRETTY!!!

One of the highlights was the second day we were coming off of Snow White and some "Dream makers" were at the exit handing out these passes.

At first we thought they were fast passes, and we were exstatic because we have NEVER gotten these before, even though we always try. You have to be "in the right place at the right time" and we never have! They weren't fast passes, they were dessert passes! Yup, that night we went to the Plaza cafe and had an all you can eat Disneyland dessert buffet. We got GREAT seats to watch the fireworks, they gave us these great mugs, and then Mickey

Minnie

and Goofy
came to meet the kids! It was SO FUN! The workers were great and entertained the kids.
Here is my mom and Goofy!!
Goodbye Disneyland!!

Nutcracker Ballet

We have a tradition of always attending the Ballet Etudes Nutcracker Ballet. This was the company I used to dance with, and it is perfect for little girls, so every year, right after Thanksgiving we get into our Christmas dresses and go! This was Lexi's first year and she LOVED it! She kept asking when she could get up on the stage to dance! These are all the girls:

Maddie, Savanna, Kaeli, Lexi and Paige. We had a great time!

They also got to meet Santa and sit on his lap!

Here are me, my girls, Savanna, and 2 of my sisters, Heather and Katie!

Here we are in the Theater. It is beautiful and elegant!!
Afterwards, we were lucky enough to go up to meet Clara. Lexi was in awe and couldn't stop staring at Clara! It was so cute!

Afterwards we always go out for icecream! Yummy! Apparently, the lady making the cones thought that a cute 3 year old in a beautiful dress needed a MASSIVELY HUGE .50 ice cream cone!! :) Lexi, of course, loved it!

Lexi, Lexi, Lexi!!!

So, My little Lexi is just the funniest thing ever! She is constantly entertaining us and doing silly things. She comes up with the most random things EVER!!! She has started letting me do her hair in different "styles" and she loves the messy bun because it is up out of her face and she feels like a ballerina. Here is one where I got REALLY creative!
Mind you, it took almost a whole Dora the Explorer episode to finish, but she was really patient, and it turned out pretty cute! I got the idea from this Hair blog You will get great ideas, and be VERY inspired!!

So, Lexi doesn't really like to get dressed in "normal" clothes, she likes to be wearing either her dance clothes, or her swimsuit! Normally, I will dress her in the morning in regular clothes, but she always ends up in her dance clothes or swimsuit! She will take her naps, but before she falls asleep she will find her swimsuit or dance outfit and put it on. Yesterday after naps she wanted to go ride her bike, so I told her she had to have shoes on, and this is what she came out in!!
She is too funny! And, yes, it is December, and it was cold outside, but she thought she was SO pretty in her swimsuit and Sunday shoes!

My little girl is just TOO funny!! I hope you enjoy too!!

Dancing Queens!!

We had a cousin's dance a couple weeks ago to celebrate my grandparents 100th birthdays this year and Lexi and Maddie had a blast doing the "hamster" dance! This video was pretty cute! I can totally see Maddie loving dances, just like I did! I hope you enjoy!

Cute Aprons!!

I have the BEST friend EVER!! My BFF Donelle made this ADORABLE, CUTE apron for me, just because!! She is in Texas and knew I had a really bad time, and this was what she sent, since she couldn't mail herself to me! It has a really long sash that wraps around the front and makes a really cute big bow in the back! Maddie and Lexi saw me wearing it, and of course, wanted to wear theirs! We had lots of fun making breadsticks, wearing our cute aprons!

Thanks, Donelle, this really made my day/week/etc, and I think of you everytime I wear it! You are the BEST and I miss you TONS!!!

Tricks or Treats?

I'm sure everyone is going to be posting Halloween photos, so I am too!! My kids were really cute this year!! Lexi wanted to be a kitty, so she was a pink kitty cat. Payton is going on his 4th year of being something Star Wars, so he was Rex from Clone Wars, and Maddie couldn't quite decide, until she fell IN LOVE with this horse. I don't know if you can tell, but it looks like she is riding the horse, but her legs are the horses rear legs. She LOVED it, because she is still obsessed with horses, and I thought it was pretty cute. We had to add bows and bling to make the horse look like a girl, but I thought it turned out pretty cute.
We had our block party in our front yard and we had a GREAT turn out, with delicious food!

The kids only had about an hour to carve pumpkins this year, so before they got home from school on Friday I had the pumpkins all cleaned out ready to carve and here is the finished product! Not bad for 1 hour!!

Umm.....I am alive

Hey Everyone,

I must start by saying that we are all alive and well, and I know I haven't blogged and I am VERY SORRY!! I must tell you that I have LOTS of pictures to blog, but they are stuck on my BRAND NEW camera, that is 13.6 megapixels, and my poor old computer can't handle more than 10 of them, so until we get ANOTHER external hard-drive, or a new computer, I don't know when I will have any photos to blog. Sorry!

Since I am using this as a journal and documentation, I will tell you that I did take Maddie and Payton in for their 7 year old check-up and here are their stats:
Maddie
Height:46"-19%
Weight-43lb-14%
(Yes, she is small, and always has been)
Payton
Height: 49.5"-76%
Weight: 55lb-57%
(That is about how he has been since birth! Put his head circumference in there, and it would problaby be aroun 90%!)

I can't find Lexi's so when I do, I will post those as well.
maddie and Payton had to get a vericella booster, a flu vaccine, tb test, and iron test. I had Payton go first, thinking he would be strong, and would make Maddie feel better. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!! Payton was crying quite a bit during the whole thing!

By the time Payton was done, Maddie was practically climbing the walls trying to get out of the room, and HYSTERICAL. She would not calm down, so I just held her down. The funniest part is that the nurse did the TB and iron test first, so she was crying HARD, the nurse then did the 2 shots in her leg and Maddie had NO IDEA she had done them. The nurse started to walk out and Maddie started smiling and asked, "I don't have to get the shots in my leg??" The nurse and I just laughed. Both Maddie and Payton said the fingerprick was the part that hurt the worst! Well, drama averted, and luckily, they both survived and they are both healthy, and for that, I can't complain!!!

Now, I am also supposed to get a flu shot, and I don't want to!! OUCH!! Last time I got one I was sick for a week!! I dont' want to do that again! We shall see. It's next week, so I have to sign up soon!!

Lexi's Party

Happy Birthday Lexi! Lexi was SOOOO excited for her party! She has been wanting a "Kitty" party for about 3 months! She wanted a Kitty cake and a Kitty Pinata. THose were her only requests! My AMAZING sister-in-law, Hilary, made this adorable-and VERY tasty- kitty cat face cake. It matched everything perfectly! We then had a pinata that lexi had the first and last hit of!
Thanks to all of our friends that came, and apparently the BOYS loved the cat ears as much, if not more, than the girls!! Very funny!!
Now she wants to be a kitty for Halloween

Update!!

Well, LOTS happened last week, so we will start with the Twins birthday, last Tues. They turned 7!!!! Wow, I am old to have 7 year olds! I can't believe they are so big and old! They haven't had a birthday party in 3 years, so this year we decided they should have one, but they wanted them seperately.

Maddie chose a horse themed party. Horse cake, horse pinata, pin the tail on the My Little Pony, she wore her cowboy boots, and a cute white hat. Originally, we were also supposed to have a small pony that the girls could ride, but that didn't happen, so they had to settle for really cute horse favors (go Oriental Trading company!! :)

Payton wanted ALL Star Wars Clone Wars party! We asked everyone to dress in their star wars costumes (if they had them) then we gave everyone lightsabers (VERY small light up ones) and had everyone do the Jedi Training academy, then they all got to fight me, the scary Darth Vader! THen we played put the buttons on Darth Vader, Darth Vader Pinata, and Clone Wars cake. They boys loved the light sabers, and we all had LOTS of fun!

These are the party favors! Aren't they cute!

I think they had GREAT parties! The kids didn't ask for anything for their birthdays (I think they were just excited to have a party) so Tyler and I got them a Wii. I must say, they haven't had much time to play with it, but I think they will be all Wii'ed out by the end of Fall break!

I will post Lexi's b-day party tomorrow, and our Anniversary on Thurs-so Stay Tuned............

Some photos

We are doing more painting in the livingroom and hallways. One day I was working on it and Lexi wanted to help out. I put a towel down and let her express her artistic abilities on the wall. She only painted for about 5 minutes and then said, I'm all done, mommy. I go watch Barbie Punzel (Barbie Rapunzel). Here is her "art."
Tyler and I both had to work yesterday, so my mom babysat the kids. I dropped them off bright and early at 6:30am, and they WORE my kids OUT!! They went and helped at the farm, swam 2-3 times, played with cousins, went back to the farm, played with more cousins, etc. Needless to say, they were exhausted. I stopped on the way home to get all the kids slushies to try and keep them awake (we didn't leave my parents until about 5:45pm). They did pretty well, until about 1/4 mile home Lexi fell asleep. I woke her up and made her walk in the house, and by the time I cleaned out the car, this is how I found her. 5 feet from the garage door, TOTALLY asleep. I left her that way until Tyler got home at 6:45 and she still didn't wake up! He finally took her into bed and she slept all night until 7:45am this morning!! Maddie and Payton were also so tired that they fell asleep at 7:00 and slept until 8:30am this morning!! I guess we need to live on a farm!! :)
SOrry, this is a boring post, but it's all I have right now. This week will be very busy!! Maddie and Payton turn 7 on Tues, Tyler and I's 10th wedding anniversary is Wed, and Lexi turns 3 on Thurs and Father/Daughter is fri and Sat. We are also having b-day parties for the kids this year! I'm sure you will be sick of me posting! :)
