Update!!

Well, LOTS happened last week, so we will start with the Twins birthday, last Tues. They turned 7!!!! Wow, I am old to have 7 year olds! I can't believe they are so big and old! They haven't had a birthday party in 3 years, so this year we decided they should have one, but they wanted them seperately.

Maddie chose a horse themed party. Horse cake, horse pinata, pin the tail on the My Little Pony, she wore her cowboy boots, and a cute white hat. Originally, we were also supposed to have a small pony that the girls could ride, but that didn't happen, so they had to settle for really cute horse favors (go Oriental Trading company!! :)

Payton wanted ALL Star Wars Clone Wars party! We asked everyone to dress in their star wars costumes (if they had them) then we gave everyone lightsabers (VERY small light up ones) and had everyone do the Jedi Training academy, then they all got to fight me, the scary Darth Vader! THen we played put the buttons on Darth Vader, Darth Vader Pinata, and Clone Wars cake. They boys loved the light sabers, and we all had LOTS of fun!

These are the party favors! Aren't they cute!

I think they had GREAT parties! The kids didn't ask for anything for their birthdays (I think they were just excited to have a party) so Tyler and I got them a Wii. I must say, they haven't had much time to play with it, but I think they will be all Wii'ed out by the end of Fall break!

I will post Lexi's b-day party tomorrow, and our Anniversary on Thurs-so Stay Tuned............

Some photos

We are doing more painting in the livingroom and hallways. One day I was working on it and Lexi wanted to help out. I put a towel down and let her express her artistic abilities on the wall. She only painted for about 5 minutes and then said, I'm all done, mommy. I go watch Barbie Punzel (Barbie Rapunzel). Here is her "art."
Tyler and I both had to work yesterday, so my mom babysat the kids. I dropped them off bright and early at 6:30am, and they WORE my kids OUT!! They went and helped at the farm, swam 2-3 times, played with cousins, went back to the farm, played with more cousins, etc. Needless to say, they were exhausted. I stopped on the way home to get all the kids slushies to try and keep them awake (we didn't leave my parents until about 5:45pm). They did pretty well, until about 1/4 mile home Lexi fell asleep. I woke her up and made her walk in the house, and by the time I cleaned out the car, this is how I found her. 5 feet from the garage door, TOTALLY asleep. I left her that way until Tyler got home at 6:45 and she still didn't wake up! He finally took her into bed and she slept all night until 7:45am this morning!! Maddie and Payton were also so tired that they fell asleep at 7:00 and slept until 8:30am this morning!! I guess we need to live on a farm!! :)
SOrry, this is a boring post, but it's all I have right now. This week will be very busy!! Maddie and Payton turn 7 on Tues, Tyler and I's 10th wedding anniversary is Wed, and Lexi turns 3 on Thurs and Father/Daughter is fri and Sat. We are also having b-day parties for the kids this year! I'm sure you will be sick of me posting! :)

It's a.....

Well, we had our big ultrasound today and here is a shot looking directly at the baby's face (looks like a skelaton).

We took the kids to IHOP tonight and while we were waiting for the food we showed them the ultrasound photos and we showed them all the parts of the baby, and then asked what the difference was between boys and girls. Maddie kept saying, this is a girl cause I can see her hair. We had to coax Payton to tell us what boys have that girls don't, and that is the only way to tell the difference between a boy and girl. Well...........................................................................................................................................................

it's a BOY. The ultrasound photos are pretty obvious, and graphic, and Tyler didn't want the "family jewels" to be broadcast on the internet, so take my word for it, and if you want me to e-mail you the ultrasound to prove it, I can. Payton is pretty excited because now he will have the roommate he has been wanting since Lexi was born! We bought these suckers for the kids that say, "It's a BOY." The kids thought it was pretty fun!! We love IHOP. So, that is our big news! We are VERY excited!

Yeah!! A new FENCE!!

So, here is our PRETTY NEW SHINY STABLE fence!! We had Homestead Vinyl do the work, and they were GREAT! It really makes the backyard look nice, now we just have to get some brickwork done!! I love it, and the kids can now play outside again!

Storm Damage

Any of you in the valley know that last week we had a LOT of rain, and Thursday night was an amazing storm. Looked like a strobe light outside, but it was actually lightning, and it sounded like a low flying airplane all night, but it was actually thunder! It really was an amazing storm!
Our pool fence has been rusting at the bottom, and a few of the edges, with all of the water hitting it, and Thursday night Butterscotch (our dog) started barking like crazy, and I heard a series of snapping noises, then a big slam. When I looked outside this is what I saw:

except, the basketball hoop was on top of the pool fence, lying on the ground. The wind had picked up so much it blew the hoop over on top of the fence, and since the fence has been rotting, it just made it snap!! We knew the fence was going bad, but we were trying to save money to get it replaced. Now we are getting a pool fence on MONDAY!! I am so excited because it is the pretty white vinyl fencing!! I promise to post photos once it is completed!! For now, the fence has a few temporary posts holding the fence up-THANKS Jon and Chad!! So, until Monday, the kids are SAFE!! :)
And, here are a few cute photos of Lexi. She cracks me up! I found her in her bed awake, sucking on her blanky, so I snapped that one, but then she wanted to see what she looked like asleep, so she posed for me!

Too cute!!
