Donelle and Leslies Birthday Slumber Party!

Donelle came into town for the Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney Concert! It was right after her birthday and Leslies birthday, so we decided to have a slumber party birthday for them! We bought matching cowgirl pj's and my sis-in-law, Hilary, made this amazing cake that went perfectly with the cowgirl/slumber party theme. Thanks Hilary for the GREAT and DELICIOUS cake.

Happy birthday Donelle and Leslie! We love you!

Kindergarten Graduation

Sorry it has been a while since I blogged, not much has been going on, and since I am using this blog as a personal journal, I am going back and blogging a few things I never got around to! You don't have to look, but I want to make sure this is recorded! Maddie and Payton graduated from Kindergarten in May. They had so much fun! They love to learn and loved class and even homework. They had a GREAT teacher named Mrs. Willis. She was firm, but very sweet.

Here they are getting their dipolomas from their teacher and the principal

Happy Father's Day!

I hope you all had a GREAT Fathers Day! I am so blessed to have so many wonderful Fathers in my life. My Father was AMAZING! As were my Grandfathers, and Tyler's Father and Grandfathers! Here is my Dad and Mom-I personally think they make a very cute couple!

We lovingly call him Grandpa Veggies, because of the farm and his amazing garden. He has the BEST garden ever, and he learned that from his father! He also loves to take the kids to the farm. Here he is with Maddie and Payton, showing them the new baby lamb. This was a couple years ago!

Another Father is my Father-In-Law. He passed away 1 1/2 yrs ago, and we miss him dearly! I loved having him in our life! He was always happy to see me and the kids, and was so patient and kind. He didn't say much, but you could always find him in the background with a smile on his face. He was also a peacemaker. He knew the importance of family and wanting us to all love one another! We miss him dearly and can hardly wait to see him again! Here he is with my fabulous Mother-in-law on Lexi's blessing day! We were so happy to have him there!

Here is a GREAT photo of my Mother-in-law and Jerry! Aren't they a GREAT couple!

And, my Husband! He is a GREAT father and loves our children SO much! Everything in his life revolves around what he is doing for our family and how he can make our lives better! We love him SO much, and I am so grateful he is my eternal companion, and the father of our children! I couldn't have asked for a better father for my kids! I love you, Tyler! Nothing says "Fantastic Father" like a daddy willing to play Ponies with his daughter! Too Cute!

And here is a Handsome picture of my man!!

Swim Lessons

Lexi took another year of swim lessons from our FANTASTIC teacher. She taught Maddie and Payton, and worked a little with Lexi last year, and this year Lexi really started getting into it! She actually took it the whole month of May, I am just really slow getting it here! She could tell you the exact order of what was goint to happen in class! Sometimes she would tear up, like with Humpty Dumpty, or the Diving board, but otherwise, she had a great time!

She was supposed to go THROUGH the hula hoop!

Treasure Hunt! By the end, she LOVED putting her face in the water to find the treasures!

Humpty Dumpty! Not her favorite, but she knows the words, and then to jump in, turn around, and find the wall!

Rockets with bubbles!!

By the end of the class the kids could jump off the diving board and find the wall, or roll over and float on their backs! She still had a week left, so the teacher had to help her into the water!

Yeah! She did it! CHEESE!!

Fire Station!

We got to do a fire station tour with a big group from our ward! It is a big firestation, and we got to see lots! The kids especially loved getting dressed up in fireman "gear."

The firemen were great, and even got all dressed up in their big gear, so the kids wouldn't be afraid of them if they came in their house! While the fire fighter was putting on his oxygen tank Lexi asked, "He Fly, mommy?" and I told her no. about 5 minutes later she asked again, "He not fly mommy?" and I replied again, "no, he doesn't fly, and he isn't scary either!" She then got down and went right up to him, even with his mask on! No fear!

Sleeping Arrangements

Well, last night our sleeping arrangements were slightly altered! We put the kids to bed about 8:30. Maddie and Payton were pretty good about going to sleep by about 8:45. Lexi, on the other hand, had a tougher time! She first started by trying to talk to Maddie, and when Maddie wouldn't respond she started saying she needed to go Potty. By about the 10th time (and around 10pm) she went into the bathroom to go potty, I told her this was the last time, and if she got out of bed again, she would sleep in the bathroom. Within 5 minutes, she was back in the bathroom, pull-up off, playing with the door, so I gathered her pillow and blankie and closed her in the bathroom (with the light on). She screamed, cried, begged, promised to "be a good girl," and yelled, anything she could think of, until finally, around 11:30 she FINALLY fell alseep, on the ground. Around midnight I carried her into bed, and she woke up a bit, and said, "I sleep in my bed?" and I said, "yes," to which she sweetly replied, "Oh, thank you! I be good girl." and went to sleep. I felt kind of bad, but tonight it only took one threat of sleeping in the bathroom, and she went to bed! Hopefully, she can continue sleeping in her bed, and not the bathroom!! So, here she is in her temporary "bed"

Bounce U!!

For My mother-in-laws Happy Birthday, and 3 of the Nephews Birthday, we all went to Bounce U, and indoor bounce house! It was SO FUN! We all had a blast, especially the adults! Happy Birthday Carlene, Forrest, Austin, and JJ!! Thanks for the great evening!
The following are some of the photos! Sorry, there are lots, but it was really fun!
One of the slides

Like I said, even the adults had fun!

Daddy and his little girl

This was a tug-of-war thing. Lexi wanted to try it, but as soon as we got her in it, she wanted nothing to do with it!

Let me OUT!!

The following photos are of the BIG slide! It was by far the hit with the kids!

Lexi had so much fun going on this slide, but by the end she could barely get herself up the ladder because she was so tired!

The other fun thing was the boxing ring! The gloves were so heavy I could hardly lift them! They weighed more than my kiddos!

This is my mother-in-law, Carlene, and Sister-in-law Kendyl BOXING! It was very fun!

All of the grandkids! Thanks for the great night, Carlene, and Happy Birthday!!
