Cox Swim Party

For those of you who aren't one of my cousins, this post will probably be pretty boring, so you can skip past it. If you know my moms side of the family, you know I have 77 1st cousins, and I have NO idea how many 2nd and 3rd cousins now. Maddie and Payton were #164 and 165, and that was 7 years ago!! There were about 150 people there! For all of my cousins that couldn't come to the swim party, I promised the aunts I would post some pictures for all of you. We had a swim party at Carson pool with Hot dogs, salad, water and the Layton's YUMMY Soft serve ice cream machine!! We have never done a swim party, but I think we had a great turnout, and LOTS of fun! We missed all of you who couldn't be there!

Tool Belt Diva

We celebrated the last birthday party of the year for Shelley! Donelle came up with this great idea after seeing how good Shelley was with a drill and a saw! After getting the idea, it was all a matter of planning! We had man food (wings, nachos, and root beer in the bottles), a name that tool contest, and a bird house making contest-complete with prizes and pink tools!! We got Shelley a tool belt-decorated very girly, a pink tool set, a pink hard hat, and pink safety goggles.
Tanisha did an AMAZING job with a pink tool diva cake!! It was very fun to watch her work! She even made her own fondant! She did a GREAT job on the cake! Way to go Tanisha!! She had a tool on each side, and made the hammer out of twinkies! Very clever! And best of all, it tasted DELICIOUS!!! Great job, Tanisha!!

Look at those ladies hard at work trying to build those birdhouses!! Tanisha took the glue out and made us use nails instead!! Not as easy as it sounds!! Alene and Jenn won the contest! Good job! Enjoy all the pink tools you won!

Fishing Trip

Tyler and the guys went deep sea fishing for their "guys trip" and had a GREAT time!! Although, their conversations didn't sound nearly as interesting as ours, they said they LOVED talking about sports for 12 hours in the car!! Here are some of the photos! They didn't get any photos of the fish!! They each caught a few and had a great time! Now we are going to smoke some Baracuda, Rock fish, and bass!! Yummy!

Yeah!! We are pregnant! Most people already know, but in case you didn't, now you do!! And yes, it is just 1!! We are very excited, and we will find out what we are having next month. I am due January 31st!! What will it be? Boy or Girl??.......................Wait and see!!

School

FINALLY A POST!! Sorry to the blogging world! I promise to be a better blogger!

My kids started school on Wed! They are in the 1st grade!! Made me cry thinking that they would be gone all day, but they are both TOTALLY ready for it.

Here are the famous "first day of school" photos. Don't they look SO cute! Lexi couldn't resist being in the photos, cause she thinks she is going to school soon too!!

Maddie got her hair CHOPPED off! She loves it. After it was done she said, "Mom, I wanted to get my hair cut so when I go to school all the boys will say 'Oooooohhhhhhh!!'" Yikes! She is super cute with it cut, and I don't know if any of the boys noticed, but all her girlfriends and their moms noticed!!!
