Sorry I haven't blogged much, we have been busy, and I will have lots of posts over the next few days. Just an FYI, we all survived the flu bug and my house is not stinky anymore!
On to the POST!!!
Payton discovered that one of his teeth was VERY wiggly last night, so he was bound and determined to have it fall out today. Luckily, It didn't happen while we were at church. After church he asked for an apple (this kid does NOT like much fruit, especially apples) so he could bite into it to help his tooth be more wiggly. I gave him an apple and he was biting into it, complaining that his tooth didn't feel any looser, when he took another bite he felt for his tooth and it was GONE!! We searched everywhere, but couldn't find his tooth. I think it got swallowed with the apple! He was devastated! He started crying, and asking how he could get the tooth out. I explained it would eventually come out, and he asked if he could retrieve it at that time, which I emphatically told him NO! He was really sad because now the tooth fairy wouldn't give him any money. I told him that this probably happens a lot and if he wrote her a note explaining what happened she would still give him money. He left for about 5 minutes and this is what he came back with:

Isn't that too cute! I will translate: "Dear tooth feiree (fairy) I acdens (accidentaly) swalod (swallowed) my tooth"
I thought this was the cutest thing ever! After writing the note he said he better give the tooth fairy a treat to, just in case, so he left the note with, caramel taped to it, under his pillow.
Needless to say, he still got his sparkly dollar bill from the tooth fairy, and she loved the caramel and left the wrapper under his pillow so he would know she ate it!
