Christmas Clothes

I love Christmas dresses, especially the big fluffy ones! We bought these Beautiful purple dresses about 3 months ago! I couldn't resist and Lexi and Maddie thought they were Perfect! It has LOTS of sparkles (I think most of those got left at church) and so we got matching silver sparkly shoes and even a silver sparkly headband! So cute!
And definately check out my handsome son! He is too cute! I love my kids! What a GREAT blessing!

Pictures of the Trolly!

Treats Trolly

Thursday night we all met at my Mom's house (all the kids call her Grandma Treats) and Olly the Trolly picked us up. We then stopped at my brothers house to get snacks, and outfits. My sister-in-law, Jenn, organized it all and is amazing! She doesn't miss a detail. Then we hopped back in the trolly and went looking at Christmas lights. We had so much fun! After the lights we went back to my brother's house and Santa met us there. Each child got to sit on his lap then they had big presents sitting out on the lawn and all the kids got to open them. It was so fun! I hope we do it again next year! Thanks, Jenn, and Grandma Treats for all the FUN!

Christmas happenings!!

I know it has been a long time since I last blogged, but this is the season for LOTS of family parties and affairs! Here are 2 of the parties from Sun. night and Mon. night. I will post more party excitement later!
Sunday was the Cox party. The kids all dress up and act out the nativity, then we have a little talent show.

One of my Dad's sheep had babies the week before, so we used them as real props. They were a big hit.

Here are the kids singing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" as their talent.

Here is Lexi in her brand new Christmas dress, complete with Sparkly shoes!

Not to be Outdone!

So as soon as Maddie lost her first top tooth, Payton was devastated! He decided that the wiggly tooth (that had been wiggly for almost 6 months) was just about ready to come out. He wiggled it faithfully every day. Then Maddie lost her other top tooth, and Payton was bound and determined to get at least one of his top teeth out! Sure enough, whether it was ready or not, it came out a couple days ago! He was SO happy!! Now he has a huge gap, and I don't think his other tooth will come in for a while!

This morning Payton and Maddie discovered that Payton is strong enough to give Maddie a piggy back ride! They both thought that was pretty neat!

Apparently Maddie and Payton want to go into modeling! No, I did NOT take these pictures! One must have been the photographer while the other modeled, and vice verse!! Apparently, they both like the Tooshie pose!

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!

About a week and a half ago I pulled out one of Maddie's front teeth. It looked kind of funny, but we were excited to finally get it out!!

Today, Maddie pulled out her other front tooth! I am working on teaching her the song "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!" She thinks it will be super fun to sing that for show and tell next week!! :)

Elf Mail!

I began a new tradition this year called Elf Mail. My friend, Debbie, made it up! (Thanks Debbie!). On Dec. 1st a mailbox (thanks for the Vinyl lettering Shelley!) appeared at our house accompanied by 2 elves. Inside was a letter that said they were there to watch the kids and everyday they were good they would get a suprise in the mailbox.

The first day we were told to go out and look at Christmas lights and come home and drink hot chocolate with marshmallows. The mailbox had the instructions, mugs, hot cocoa packets and a packet of miniature marshmallows! The kids loved it! These are some of the photos of us checking out Christmas lights!

These are some of the deer in front of our house. The kids love to "pet" them and Lexi kisses them goodnight almost every night. They love our reindeer!

Nutcracker

I have made it a tradition
to go to the Ballet Etudes "The Nutcracker"
with Maddie.
She is getting bigger and bigger
and can hardly wait to try out
for it next year.
I love this production of
it because everyone in it is under 18, and mostly because I was in it YEARS ago. I can still do some of the dances! I love it!
We went with my mom, sisters, my niece Haylee, and my friend Chrissy and her daughters, Kaeli and Paige

After it was over, my Uncle Kent let the girls come up on the stage and meet Clara. They were in Heaven!
