The Gila Valley Temple had an open house and I really wanted to take my kids through the temple, so we made a trip up to Safford and saw it. It is beautiful inside. I'm so glad my kiddos got to see it.

Her tootsies are TOO cute!
On April 17th, My best friend, Donelle, her niece, Kelly, me and 28,000 of our closest friends ran the Pat Tillman race!!
it was 4.2 miles...Pat's number was 42...
And the race ended on the 42 yard line at ASU stadium, cause Pat Tillman played for ASU...
It was Donelle's FIRST RACE EVER and she did GREAT!! She would have been faster, but I was holding her back!! Thanks for coming with me, Donelle and Kelly!! Just rest, Donelle! :)
My little niece, Elsie, was born on my birthday! I don't mind sharing my birthday!
Tyler and Chad took the kids up to my Dad's fishing tournament....
Lexi and Jace each got 1st place in their age bracket!
All of the kids did GREAT!! (Please, don't mind the girls hair, I OBVIOUSLY was NOT there!)
And, It snowed!! brrrrrr!!!!
While the boy went to the fishing tournament, me and 4 of my bestest friends went up to Women's Conference at BYU....we drove ALL the way up!! Great job, Chrissy..it was SO windy, they closed the road shortly after we made it through!
It was FREEZING and snowed while we were up there!
But the flowers were beautiful, the friends were amazing and the speakers were uplifting!!
And, the peanut butter cup hot chocolate was TO DIE FOR!! Thanks, Tanisha!!
We also celebrated my birthday in UT by going to a REAL afternoon tea! It was SO fun!!
The raspberry hot chocolate was delish, and the finger sandwiches were VERY good, and the pastries were yummy!! Thanks for the great birthday, gals!!
We also attended a session at the Salt Lake Temple. It was really fun. Here is Chrissy and me in an alcove outside of the temple!
And, the flowers on Temple square were beautiful!
Thanks for the GREAT girls trip Alene, Shelley, Chrissy and Donelle.
And thank you to our husbands for staying home with the kiddos while we were gone! I had a very memorable trip. Hopefully I can take what I heard and be a better wife, mother, friend, and daughter of God!

First half of April Update

This will be an update of the first half of April. Hope you all enjoy! :)

I really wanted to have some good ol' fashion fun for April Fools day, so the day began with eggs.....ummm....mini eggs.....
APRIL FOOLS.....it was white chocolate with an M&M!! Yummy!!
Then for a "real" breakfast the kids had cereal, but the milk went in white, but when they stirred it, it turned BLUE......
APRIL FOOLS!!! Hee hee, they did eat their breakfast, and the blue milk tasted completely normal!!!
The kids had a 1/2 day, so I made them lunch when they got home......
Grilled cheese and koolaid!!!
APRIL FOOLS!!!!!.....IT was really toasted pound cake with orange frosting "cheese" and jello for the koolaid-the kids couldn't get it to come up the straw!! It was pretty funny, but they enjoyed it!!
Lexi was in charge of snacks at her class, so I made sushi....
APRIL FOOLS!!!! It was really rice krispy treats rolled around a gummy worm with fruit roll-ups wrapped around the edges. I'm sure the preschoolers didn't get it, but Their teacher thought it was cool, and Tyler thougth it looked pretty cool too. Maddie and Payton thought it looked real too! WOOhooo!!
That was all of my April Fools day pranks....until next year! I'm already beginning to plan!.....Heehee....
For Easter, we went to decorate Jake's grave...and tried to plant grass....

Hi Jake!! We love you and miss you!!!

Here are the Easter pics!!

My studly little man, Payton!

Pretty Princess, Lexi

Sweet and Sassy Maddie....
All of my cute blessings!
Payton LOVES loves LOVES scouts! He got to go to the annual Jamborama with his best buddy, Nicolas.
They had LOTS of fun with all of the different booths and activities, especially making there own slime/goo (such a BOY thing!) and walking this rope bridge!
That is all, for now...I will have another April post coming VERY SOON!!

March Update!

Yes, that is right, I am going back to March to update! Haha! Mostly for journaling purposes, but you all get to be involved! :)

Actually, back in February, Maddie got glasses! Check out how CUTE she looks!

We love the pose too!

I also got a NEW STOVE!! It is a flat top, and WAY better than our old one. You had to really watch it because it cooked lots hotter was not a flat top. I am sooo happy! I'm convinced that the reason my cooking isn't very good was because of our stinky old stove.....ummm....I don't know if the cooking is any better with the new one, but I do like to clean it! :)
So, this is what my March Calendar looked like:
Notice the week of March 14-19th-COMPLETELY EMPTY!!! Yes, that was spring break!! And, I LOVED not having ANYTHING planned, so on Monday, about noon, Denise (my sis) and I decided to take a road trip to Safford to visit my sister Heather! Our other sister, Julie, came too, so it was us girls with all of our kids! We left at 2pm and stayed until Wed! We had a BLAST!! Brandon and Heather were sooooo nice to let us literally invade their house with 10 kids! :)
The kids found a big hole near Heather's house and had fun digging and playing forts, or something!
The last day we were there we went to some Natural hot springs. The kids had fun covering up with "healing mud"
The we had fun swimming in this massive naturally hot pool!! So fun!!
Lexi literally slept like this ALL night long! Haha!!
Tyler bought me these BEAUTIFUL flowers!! I had to get pictures of them because they were red roses, but they looked like lace, with crinkled edges and white coloring all over them! Thanks, Tyler, they are Beautiful!! I love you!
And last, but Certainly not least, my little brother, Nate, is ENGAGED!! Yes, that is right!! He met this Super sweet gal named Abby and they are just so cute and in love! We are soo excited to have her be a part of our family, even if we have only met her once! :) Aren't they sooo cute!
Here is a preview of some of their engagement shots. I love love LOVE her shoes!
They will be married July 17th here!! Yeah!! We love weddings!!
Welcome to the family, Abby! We are so excited!
So, that is it for March....stay tuned for April, probably a 2 part series! :)
