Conference Apossum?

We were in the car on the way home tonight and I asked the kids, very excitedly, "Guess what tomorrow and Sunday are?!"

Maddie was so excited, and responded, "I know! It is when we get to hear the new Prophet speak, and see who the mystery apossum is going to be!"

So, we are very excited around here to see who the "mystery apossum" will be! I hope you all enjoy conference as much as I do! Have a great weekend!

I love Easter because I remember my mom always staying up all night making us matching dresses. I made the girls dresses once, but I am not nearly as talented at sewing as my mom is, but I was able to find matching dresses at the store for cheaper than I could make them (and faster!)

I must say, in my totally unbiased opinion, I think I have the cutest kids EVER!

Happy Birthday, Lady Tanisha!

You all know that I have the BEST friends, and we have the BEST birthday parties! Well, here is our latest! My friend Tanisha LOVES anything Jane Austen, so we decided to throw her an English Tea party! Here is the invite!

Here is the backyard scene! We had 2 canopy's draped in sateen and 2 tables with REAL china and LOTS of delicious food! My sister-in-law, Hilary made the amazing cake! Thanks, Hilary, she LOVED it!

Tanisha was so excited that she purchased a dress (or 2) for the occasion! Isn't it cute! Just perfect for the time era!

We all had a great time sitting around chatting, drinking tea (strawberry lemonade), and eating!

New Job!

A couple months ago Tyler started looking for a new job (the Dr. he was working for was relocating to OR). Within a few weeks of each other we received 3 great job offers! After reviewing the pros and cons on all of them he happily accepted a position with Dr. Hobbs and Dr. Sawyer. They own 3 Urgent Cares, and now Tyler is going to get to work in one of them! He did a rotation with them about 1 yr ago and really liked the Dr's and really liked Urgent Care. It is great because the Dr's are great and he is only at Gilbert and Queen Creek! Super close! Here he is on his way to work! He is such a stud! We are really excited for him!

After Lexi saw me taking a photo of Tyler leaving to work, she told me I needed to take one of her leaving to work-so here she is, going to work, in her Pj's!! What a cutie!

Fun Cabin Trip!

For Spring Break we went up to the cabing with Chad and Shelley! We had so much fun! Shelley and I scrapbooked, the boys watched TV and the kids played! It was fun not to have any place to go or anything to do! Chad's cell-phone didn't even work, and no internet! It even snowed and we got to go sledding! It was a fun trip! Thanks for coming Chad and Shelley!

Surfing in the Snow?

While up at the cabin we went sledding down a hill and we decided to use the sleds as surfboards! Here is Tyler "surfing!" it was pretty funny! More videos to come!

Got Meat?

This isn't too exciting, but I figured I better blog about something, since it has been a whole week, so Here goes!

For anyone that knows my kids, they know that they LOVE meat! They are little carnivores!

Tyler is getting very good at smoking meat, and cooking meat, and this night he made ribs.....

Maddie LOVES ribs! She would chose them over candy!
